BabyMoga Classes are back for 2021
4 Week Baby Massage Course
I have welcomed 6 new mammas and their squishy little ones ranging from a teeny 5 weeks to 6 months old. One Moga-Mum did a course with me 4 years ago and is now back with Baby number 2.
Just to note…crying is expected and accepted in class. Baby Massage might be the first class you and your little one do together (it’s suitable from newborn) so they may feel a little overwhelmed (or maybe you!) as its all new. But don’t panic, you’ll find that everyone is there in the same position. But so far, this course has been lovely and relaxed, with lots of lovely coo-ing and gurgling.
4 week Baby Yoga Course
A class of 9 for Baby Yoga, I have decided as part of the course to give each Moga-mamma a mini sensory kit to keep, so not to share things like scarves and shakers. Baby Yoga is more energetic than massage, and lots of fun. The classes include some sensory bits and a relaxation. The odd bit of yoga for mum too, but mainly for little one.
Maybe you’re not quite up for classes yet, or maybe committing to a 4 week course isn’t for you (although I do recommend, making mum mates really is a good thing) Maybe you’d like to buy a bespoke gift for some one. I offer home visits in the local area (Newport/Torfaen) to teach some Baby Massage basic in the comfort of your own home. Please get in touch for more details about these one to one sessions.
if you’re feeling anxious about getting back out there after covid lockdowns
I try to make classes as chilled and relaxed as I can, if all you do is sit and feed or cuddle baby, thats fine. There is no pressure, no judgement and its all baby led. If you want to send me a message and have a chat before doing a course just let me know. Becoming a parent during lockdowns hasn’t been easy for some and if you need some gentle coaxing or support from me to get out there in the big wide world with your baby, I am honestly more than happy to help.
Where am I based?
For this first course, I hired some space at Let Loose soft Play in Newport – which I definitely recommend to any parents out there. Its clean, friendly, a great little café, and a lovely soft play. But going forward, I will be back at Beechwood House in Newport and running my courses from the community rooms at the main house. Its a gorgeous park, with the most amazing café on site.
